First Mate / PT Captain
Andrew was born and raised in Vero Beach and Fort Pierce and grew up on the water. He was always fishing off the dock or on the Jon boat at the lift out back catching anything that would bite. His fishing career started at Vero Tackle and Marina running the register and counting out shrimp and giving fishing advice. After seeing all the guides go out on charters everyday and getting a few mate jobs on peoples boats Andrew knew what he wanted to be once he grew up. I got my captains license when I was 20 and I started out doing inshore charters with my uncles Pathfinder for snook, trout, redfish, tarpon and everything else the Indian River Lagoon has to offer. After 2 seasons or so Andrew bought his own boat, a 20 foot Shearwater bay boat and continue to run inshore trips. Andrew stays busy enough but one job led to the next and started fishing with Captain Tris on the Last Mango as the first mate. He learned a lot more about offshore fishing and after 2 years or so in the cockpit started running the boat. Andrew still an occasions runs inshore charters but offshore looking for sails, mahi, and kingfish is really where he wants to be.
